The CPAP, with a cost that can exceed $3,000, has been promoted for years as the standard solution for snoring and sleep apnea. However, its effectiveness is limited, and most patients end up abandoning it due to the discomfort of sleeping with a tightly fitted mask, the constant noise of the machine, and the complications of its maintenance. Surgeries, which can range from $3,000 to $10,000, are not only invasive and painful but often fail to provide permanent results, with snoring returning over time. Other methods, such as nasal sprays, ergonomic pillows, or jaw-support bands, lack scientific backing and offer only temporary relief without addressing the root cause of the problem. Despite the wide range of treatments available, patients continue to struggle with restless nights and health complications without a definitive solution.
